...I received 5s on both AP Calculus exams as well as a 5 on AP Physics and a score of 790/800 on the math SAT. In addition to completing the course material above, I have also tutored two peers for semester-long periods in physics and calculus to help them prepare for AP tests that they felt underqualified for. ...Instead of memorizing a list of facts, I believe allowing oneself to understand why and how something works is what enables enjoyment of the subject. And once the "why" and "how" of the subject are understood, good grades and test scores will follow naturally. I am very patient with others, and I can easily explain concepts in multiple ways until they sink in for the student. (read more)
