...I have a PhD in economics (Harvard, specialties in health policy and behavioral economics) and have taught algebra-based econometrics-style statistics at the undergraduate, masters, and doctoral level. ...I took a Speech Communication course at RPI during my undergraduate studies. The course involved writing a series of speeches and then presenting them in front of the entire class to then be critiqued and receive real time feedback from every single student and the professor. Each speech was a different format to teach us the strengths and weaknesses involved in different structures. (read more)
