...I engaged in mathematics proofs, and studied logic independently for philosophy, this included taking a couple courses in logic itself, e.g, Symbolic Logic. I was a teacher's assistant for a semester of finite math at my University. ...I just took a job as a Special Education teacher in at Brentwood High School in Tennessee. I have had a great deal of experience with children who are deaf, have learning disabilities, Aspergers, autism, Down's syndrome, etc. I have had experience with these types of needs at Vanderbilt University and in the teaching field.
