...The first is geared toward the general public and focuses on where to find stuff in the sky: phases of the moon, declination of the sun, the rising and setting of constellations and planets, and how to find the North Star. I enjoyed earning the Astronomy merit badge as a Boy Scout. Now that I'm an adult, I use the sun, moon, and stars to find my way in unfamiliar territory all the time. (read more)
