...One thing I do try to be consistent about is allowing students to do as much as they can with what they know already, and then providing support or instruction when it is needed. I have a B.S. in Actuarial Science from Brigham Young University and have always enjoyed math as it has come easily to me. Math is fun for some people, but for most, fun is not the word that would be used to describe math.
