I have been tutoring math (and loving it!) since 2013 when I was studying for my Bachelor’s in Mathematics at Belmont Abbey College. After graduating summa cum laude with a 3.96 GPA, I continued tutoring in the evenings alongside my professional career. Yep! That is indeed me hanging off a bridge I taught my students to build made only of Popsicle sticks and hot glue! ...As a child, this meant telling my parents absolutely everything new I was learning in school. But in college, this same desire to share my interests manifested in me finding outlets to teach. I was a peer tutor at the UNC Learning Center and helped students with algebra, calculus, python coding, and introductory physics. (read more)
