...I have a firm belief that in order to teach something you must have good mastery in the subject. I am very knowledgeable in the subjects that I teach, otherwise I wouldn't teach them. My aim is to try and break down complex theories and concepts into manageable pieces so that we can build the confidence and stamina needed to solve problem sets. (read more)
...I develop tutoring sessions based on the goals of the each student. Most tutoring lessons involve the student solving problems (whether they be homework, test prep, or example problems) while I provide oversight. If I see the student take a wrong turn or if the student is stuck, I will then ask directed questions to push the student in direction they need to succeed. (read more)
