For my dissertation I researched statistical and probabilistic models of medical diagnosis. More recently I've been using biostatistics to help build mobile preventive health apps. (read more)

...I find the most impactful way to help students and improve their ability is taking them from a complete memorization approach to a more intuitive way of solving problems. I like to employ ways of checking if the steps you made for a problem make sense.
