...Their specific need did not happen to coincide with the group average need. The explanation addressed to the average did nothing for them, because the group average question was not THEIR question. In my experience, by far most students CAN understand course material, even if previously struggling, if they simply have their specific individual questions and needs addressed. (read more)
...As a note, effective test prep takes time, so I recommend starting early. I warn my prospective students that the gains to be made with just a week or two of preparation will be very limited.
