Hi, I’m Hajar, a Mechanical Engineering student at Virginia Tech, and I’ve been tutoring for over 3 years. I started in my second semester, helping fellow undergraduates, and later worked at the university’s Tutoring Center, providing both walk-in and one-on-one support. ...While working towards that degree, I took general and organic chemistry, physics 1, calculus 1-2, geology, ecology, other earth science courses, and some data processing classes. My high school focused heavily on writing and critical thinking with a “classical education,”so I have strengths there as well. I had a 4.0/4 GPA in high school. (read more)
...When that is understood, I provide example problems or help them with their homework problems. After that, I check in with them and see if their understanding improved and if they would like an more questions answered.
