...At SLU, I am a co-lead for our student-run MCAT course designed to be a free-resource for pre-med students on the campus. My other experience includes being a volunteer tutor for math and reading/comprehension to students aged 5 to 21 with Down syndrome for 1.5 years. ...I then graduated with a Masters degree in Biomedical Sciences prior to starting medical school. Prior to college, I graduated from high school with High Honors and scored a 29 on the ACT with high scores on the Math and Science sections. In addition, I scored a 5 on my AP Calculus AB exam allowing me to test out of Calculus in college. (read more)
