...My approach centers on principles of repetition and confidence- I believe that too often students are taught only until they can get something once and then forced to move on. When I teach, we take the time to make sure that something is mastered and able to be reproduced in a variety of settings before moving on. Even then, the concepts are carefully tracked and revisited later. (read more)
