As a born-and-raised local, I've been involved in the East End community for over 15 years. From volunteer work to consistent tutoring after school and in the summer, being involved in the improvement of those around me has always been something I look forward to. ...On the Writing part of the SATs, students don't really "write." Rather, they edit writing choices. To begin, I give them a pretest and determine their weaknesses. Then we review the structure of the test, the type of questions that will come up testing those exact skills, and examine choices. (read more)
