...I have a degree in special education, elementary education and a minor in educational psychology, and have spent the last year and a half working at school with autistic and special needs children. ...When I was in high school my mother, who had polio when she was 13, went to college to receive 2 degrees as well. The commute for both of them was about 40 minutes one way. Seeing the sacrifices they both made to get their degrees made a lifelong impact on me. (read more)
