...I was also the New Mexico High School Chess Champion as a junior, subsequently participating in the national Denker Tournament. I have mostly taught chess at my local high school in a classroom setting. My methods include setting up a demonstration board and playing through instructive games, and asking questions about different aspects in the position. (read more)
