...My schedule consisted of Geometry, Algebra 1 and Precalculus. After three years at Mott, I accepted a full time position at Avondale High School in Auburn Hills, Michigan. I was on staff at Avondale for 25 years and during my career, I taught the following subjects: Algebra 1, Geometry, Algebra 2, College Algebra, Precalculus, Trigonometry, Discrete Math, Biology and Driver’s Education. ...I will use real objects in 3D rather than 2D to explain for those students that have difficulties in visualizing. I use real life problems to relate the subjects to show them how Geometry can help them in solving daily life problems. I have taught Prealgebra for years. (read more)
