...I enjoy working with youth to further their understanding of Math and show them how though challenging Math can be fun. I know for many people Math is a subject that is difficult, but I hope to show how Math is applicable to real life and can see a unique appreciation for the skill. ...While at IUP I was employed by the university as an Algebra TA and as a calculus and philosophy tutor for over 4 years. Although much of my work was through the university, I also conducted private tutoring with a large number of students. While I primarily provided these services for compensation, I had and would never turn away a student because of their inability to pay for tutoring. (read more)
