...My favorite project was the Moon Journal. I had my students observe the moon each day, and draw the phase they saw along with what time they observed it. We did this for a whole month so that they could see the sequence from one phase into another, and could grasp why the moon is sometimes out during the day and other times during the night. I have been out of school for almost 20 years now. I was pre-Med at DePaul University, with intentions on becoming a vet, but decided I needed to take care of my family obligations instead. I had a 3.8 GPA at DePaul and graduated with Honors. (read more)
