Typically, I find tutoring most helpful in 1-on-1 or very small group settings; I find this maximizes our time and allows us to focus on the areas you struggle in most. ...People have multiple learning styles: some learn best in lecture atmospheres, some are inspired by discussion, and others absorb best when they read and reflect on what they have read. The classroom setting can encourage or inhibit learning depending on the foremost learning style of each student.
