...I began tutoring as early as elementary school, as a 6th grader (yes, that was elementary school for me!) tutoring 3rd graders in a variety of subjects such as spelling, grammar, reading, math, history, etc. You name it, I tutored it! ...Our church, Red Bank Baptist, had a sanctuary orchestra where I played for years. I enjoy teaching and tutoring and I would really love the opportunity to instruct. Since retiring from TVA and moving to Pennsylvania with my wife, I have been seeking the opportunity to teach by enrolling in the Praxis series tests and applying for my Pennsylvania Teacher Certificate. ...Throughout my time at the University of Pittsburgh, I was able to teach many students. During my final two years, I served as an undergraduate TA for various Chemistry and Math courses in which I taught a class of between 15-30 students.
