...I'll then explain the topic to them using a metaphor or showing a very simplistic example. Once they feel like they have a partial understanding of the concept, I'll present them a few easy problems. As we work our way up towards harder problems, the student usually feels more confident in their abilities and able to take on tougher concepts. (read more)
