...For another student, I met with her for a half-hour most weekday nights when she was in fourth and fifth grade. At the end of any session, I would spend any extra time practicing math facts and/or reading proficiency. ...In any setting, I find it most important that students learn to experience math through progressive questioning based on skills/concepts they have already practiced.
