In graduate school, I specialized in organic research at the University of Iowa. I was also a graduate assistant at the University of Iowa, where I assisted with both General and Organic Lab. I then proceeded into my teaching career, where I was a professor of General and Organic Chemistry at Kirkwood Community College on a one-year temporary contract. (read more)
...I am a theoretical Physicist. My research have been heavily relying on Mathematica for about 20 years, including functional analysis, symbolic algebra, data analysis, differential equations, linear algebra, and, of course, composition of 2D and 3D figures. ...But, due to changing academic interests, during my first semester I chose to switch my major to biological sciences. Because of a family tragedy and other personal factors, my academic performance became inconsistent, and I eventually made the decision to enlist into the United States Navy. In the Navy, I worked as a nuclear-trained Electrician’s Mate, then later as a recruiter. (read more)
...I love being able to teach and help children succeed to their fullest potential. Every child is different in how they learn best and utilizing that is what will help them and even push them to want to do more! I have always done good in math and am currently taking courses. (read more)
