...I have had hundreds of students and I have yet to find one who did not have more than enough mental capacity to do Algebra as long as they are given adequate instruction and help with the foundations. Understanding Algebra is so important to all subsequent levels of math. Learning how to handle unknown numbers is foundational, and built on that foundation of Algebra I. (read more)
