...One thing I do try to be consistent about is allowing students to do as much as they can with what they know already, and then providing support or instruction when it is needed. ...Math is fun for some people, but for most, fun is not the word that would be used to describe math. I have worked in all grade levels (k-6) helping students understand math concepts which gives them the confidence to succeed on their own.
