I studied physics at Columbia University, and earned a BS in pure mathematics at URI. I am currently working towards a mathematics PhD. As a graduate student, I've taught online courses in applied calculus, and been an in class instructor for college algebra. (read more)

For five hours a week for 8 months, I tutored small groups of students and provided challenging questions to increase their levels of understanding and analytical skills. Most of the students I tutored received a score of at least an 85 on the regents exam. (read more)
