It is not the kid. It is how we teach (or cant teach Math) For me, it is always hard when I hear that “mathematics is too hard” Some students don’t see the value in it. They don’t see any practical purpose in what they are learning. (read more)
...I spent a lot of my free time tutoring in middle and high school and still absolutely love helping students learn new skills and concepts. My favorite part is helping students build stronger confidence and self-esteem as they begin to see their success and growth over time!
