...I have gotten the chance to attend a few digs in the Western Carolina area particularly in Haywood county; and I thoroughly enjoy it. I also greatly enjoy reading it has always been my favorite class. I was a camp counselor this summer at a girl scout camp and it was an amazing experience to watch the girls grow from every new challenge they overcame. (read more)
...No student who qualifies for special education is a labeled child. I have always taught my children as I tutored them through school that the were not to listen to other people who tried to label them, they were "special" because they were smart and could be or do anything they set their heads to do. The only difference in them and other kids is that they have a "special" way of learning. (read more)
...This is so rewarding when you see the look on their faces when they succeed. I have graduated 2 children from special education who had specific learning disabilities. I also am homeschooling our youngest daughter who also has specific learning disabilities. 2 of these children also had ADHD and depression. (read more)
