...I've taught Psychology online at several colleges. I believe that a student can improve his or her ability on reading exams, such as the SAT, by learning to ask the right questions. For example, one such question is, "What is the author's point in this passage." Utilizing this method, rapid gains can be made and the student can obtain a very high score. (read more)

When I tutor algebra, I like to show students that they often already have the skills to logic out unfamiliar math problems -- a skill well-suited for standardized testing. ...I played college baseball for a year, and I am a big proponent of the importance of youth athletics. I scored very well on both AP English courses offered to high school students, which gave me college credit. I scored a 33 on the Reading section of the ACT and a 31 on the English section.
