Although, I have a Masters in Education, I realized very early on that I had little interest in being a formal classroom teacher. ...Sometimes I will guide the student to do most of the explaining by asking probing questions. This will reinforce learning for the student and help identify problems areas. I believe learning doesn't always require a "serious" attitude- that there is room for some humor along the way. (read more)
