My goal is to show young people the value of being self aware as they enter an age when information presented to them is increasingly difficult to trust. Using citation and being able to recognize reliable resources is an invaluable skill today. I want to teach young people how to be prepared to take care of themselves for the rest of their lives. ...I am a great teacher and I can connect with kids and help them learn faster. It's not what the child is learning that makes it difficult; it's how the student is being taught that makes learning so hard for some people. Most teachers these days teach things one way and if the child doesn't understand they say "too bad" and keep going with the lesson. (read more)
