...After I find out where they are at in a subject, I will address the areas they need to work on. With the student I was helping in the English writing class, we immediately worked on vocabulary, writing styles, and simple grammar. I find that having a rather elastic method of tutoring is best to cater to the specific needs of each student. (read more)

...I do have a masters degree in education which I received in May 2010. This past year I've had a part time job through the YWCA as a site director for a program called Kids Qwest. This is an after school program for elementary students until their parents get off work to pick them up. (read more)
