...I lived and worked as a public school ESL teacher's assistant and private tutor in Shikoku, Japan for 6 years from 2004 to 2010. I also spent time living in Shiga Prefecture from 2002-2003 while studying for my undergraduate degree in East Asian Languages and Culture at Michigan State University.
