...I took a 3-year Yale fellowship teaching English as a second language to 10th graders in central China. When I returned to teach in the United States, 40% of my students were ESL students and needed language training in addition to the science education I was giving them. I am an avid reader and writer, and I am familiar with teaching many elements of the English language including vocabulary, reading comprehension, and writing.
