...It's about shapes -- triangles, rectangles, circles, etc., etc. And it's also about *proving* things. (How do we *know* that the Pythagorean Theorem is true? Can we *prove* it?) Learning how to do proofs in Geometry is a very good exercise for leaning how to be logical -- and prove things! -- in real life, too. (read more)
