...Working one-on-one with students is extremely helpful for the student; it gives undivided academic time for the student and helps the tutor to assess and work strengths. It's very rewarding to see when the student actually understands and is able to demonstrate learning and build on those skills. This is what teaching is about and definitely why I chose to become a teacher. (read more)
