...It is important to know that the Missouri Compromise happened before the Civil War, not the reverse. Beyond the surface level of content knowledge though, there is a more fluid knowledge that needs to be developed, one in which the student learns "why" things are connected. Often students only ever learn the first of these two and because of that they struggle to remember facts. (read more)

I am Jeanine, and I graduated from Anderson University with a B.A. in Elementary Education. I got to put my desire for one-on-one teaching to use when I began teaching my own children how to read and then later expanded to the other subjects.
