...I received 5s on both AP Calculus exams as well as a 5 on AP Physics and a score of 790/800 on the math SAT. In addition to completing the course material above, I have also tutored two peers for semester-long periods in physics and calculus to help them prepare for AP tests that they felt underqualified for. Both students received a 4 or higher on their tests. (read more)

...My mother and three of my siblings are deaf, and I was hard-of-hearing as a child. My hearing loss subsided, but my involvement with the deaf and hard-of-hearing community did not. My best friend in college is deaf, and many of my family friends growing up were deaf or hard-of-hearing. (read more)
