...It is exciting to see when a student "gets it," then retains and can apply that knowledge to mastery. My freshman year at IUP I started teaching as a TA in the Chemistry labs. I went on to work as a TA while working toward writing my thesis. I then attended Kent State University as a TA as well but was provided more freedom in the classroom. (read more)
