...I have worked with students one-on-one, in classroom settings, in virtual/hybrid modes, and in asynchronous classrooms. I am currently the department head at the college I've worked for since 2012. My favorite way to teach is to outline a clear plan, deliver a balance of instruction and practice, leave room for questions, and check for understanding and future goal outlining. (read more)
...We enjoy: baking, biking, hiking, swimming, playing games, reading and just spending time outside. I believe it is very crucial as a teacher to take the time to build a positive relationship with a student. I believe every student can learn to read, but it just be in a different way. (read more)
