...And a few years ago I was lucky enough to work at a place called the Fine Arts Work Center in Provincetown. It's a seven-month writing fellowship for promising writers. Past fellows, of which I am one, have gone on to win things like the Pulitzer Prize, the National Book Award and even the Nobel Prize for Literature. (read more)
