...My tutoring methods focus first on getting to know a little bit about each student: what s/he enjoys most, how s/he learns best, what his/her learning strengths and weaknesses are, and what the goals are for our study together. Oh, the places you'll go with language! I graduated in 2015 from UW-Eau Claire with a degree in German, Liberal Arts and certification to teach English as a foreign language (TEFL). During my undergrad, I spent a semester in Marburg, Germany, where I attended intensive German language courses. After coming home, I spent 2-3 hours a week tutoring beginning level German students and adults alike. (read more)
