...I have worked with my own children in special education and know the rights of those children like the back of my hand. My oldest special child, graduated from high school in 2003 on the A-B honor roll after completing his IEP. My next son, also a special student, graduated on the A-B honor roll in 2007, and I'm homeschooling my daughter who is also a special student. (read more)
What a delight it is for me to offer my services to students. I have my BS and MA in Psychology and I worked as a school psychologist for 5 years doing assessment and study and life skill groups. I have worked quite a lot with ADHD students and have certainly done the MFE assessments and then worked closely with the teachers on their IEP's. (read more)
...They were to automatically think about it this way, they are in special classes because they are special people. Nobody else qualifies to be in these classes. The only reason they are special enough to be in the classes is because they have a very unique way of learning and when they figure out exactly what that way is, they are to take that and run with it.
