My freshman year at IUP I started teaching as a TA in the Chemistry labs. I went on to work as a TA while working toward writing my thesis. I then attended Kent State University as a TA as well but was provided more freedom in the classroom. (read more)
...I like to teach on an individual basis, and cater teaching to the level of the person. I am sure we've all been around someone that just talks technical details for way too long, which loses student interest, thus they do not learn.
