...I find that shorter task with meaningful breaks are helpful with these students. I have also found that modeling pictorially also allows students to put their energy to good use. When tutoring these students I have also found unfamiliar and quiet locations help students focus on the task they are working on and not wanting to focus on familiar distractions. (read more)
