...I like what I do! I received my Master of Science degree in Applied Physics from East Carolina University. My thesis was on Particle Induced X-Ray Emission (PIXE). I constructed a PIXE chamber then used ECU's particle accelerator to bombard targets, thus emitting characteristic X-Rays that helped to unveil the target's chemical makeup. (read more)
...The last eight years of my teaching career, I wrote a weekly spiral review in math which was aligned to our NC Standards and the county’s pacing guide. It consisted of five problems a day Monday through Thursday. On Fridays we tested the skills that were reviewed all week. (read more)
...I have been a full time Teacher for two years, and I was a Substitute Teacher in Philadelphia and a Camp Counselor before moving south.
