...I have been employed @ the Dover Plains School District, Pine Plains School District, and the Northern Dutchess Christian School as an art educator. I have actively painted over the course of my lifetime, and have an interest in working with art (painting) students. I received my New York State K-12 special education certification in 2002. ...I also prepared them for the NYS English Regents, which 90% of my students passed. I taught two specialized courses on the college level to 12th graders: African-American Literature and Multi-Cultural Literature. Both of these courses integrated literature with cultural studies. (read more)
