...I think that it important for students to be aware of their individual learning style -- visual, aural, kinesthetic, etc. -- and then develop strategies to capitalize on their strengths. I also believe that it is important to teach students from the level they are currently at, even if that is not where they are "supposed" to be, scholastically. Foundational knowledge is essential.
