...I would consistently pick the most difficult schools to teach in because I felt like that was where my talents were most needed. The more challenging the students, the more I wanted to prove that I could help them be a success in the classroom. I took classes both in college and high school, was the lead mezzosoprano in chorus and show choir, was awarded with several lead roles and solos, and played violin, mellophone, and French horn. I learned French Horn in a month and was accepted into a regional honors-level band in New Jersey for that instrument. (read more)
