...Some of them might seem obvious -- you can try them on your own! -- but over and over again, I find they work. Two of the biggest tricks: (1) Never ignore correct answers. Some of the best growth I've seen is after asking students about why they got a question RIGHT. (2) Cement new skills right away. (read more)
